| Hey, people. I've noticed this. I'm goth, so I get alot of questions all of the time. Like do you believe in God? And the likes. So they just instantly think that I don't. Why do they link Goths to Satan and Wicca to Satan? I have a theory on the appearences of people. Goths wear all black all the time. This is not a religion it is a style. So they think of us as dark people. Understandable. (If you want me to go into more detail about this let me know.) Wiccans wear different styles like everybody else. This religion is not based on the clothes that the followers chose to wear. Yet, goths are not rare in this religion. A huge number of goths are Wiccan or something close to this religion. Satanists wear all black like Goths. (I don't know if this is true or not, but I have not met a Satanist that was not goth.) Soo...since Satanists wear all black they are Goths. Goths have variations of religions and Satanism is one of them. So people naturally assume that all Goths are Satanists (Not true.). Since a huge number of Wiccans (that people notice anyways are goths.) They also naturally assume that Wiccans are Satanists. This entry is based on appearences and my own personal opinion. | I have just figured somethin out. Wicca is a closet religion. Not a lot of people come out and say Wicca is my religion. Because do you know what will happen then? Lots of stupid questions and rude comments. Not like if I were to say I am Christain. No offense intended I am just stating the facts. Why is this? I want to know. If people really knew what Wicca was then, would that happen. No. It would not. Wiccans are merely good natured people. Not all Wiccans are goths or gothic. (I am, but besides that fact). Wiccans don't worship the Devil or anything. We realize what is around us, and don't view things like Magick, as Witchcraft, because it is normal, but unseen to most people (So it is understanded that it is feared for that reason.). So why is Wicca a closet religion? I have been askin my self this for so long, because I am still in that closet. So tell me why, if you have an opinion? | | |
| Since I made this Xanga for people who need Wicca Help and I am still in the Broom Closet for my own reasons and I know many people on Xanga, I decided to make up a name. | Hi,
I don't want to give my name anywhere on this site, for I am still in the Broom Closet, so to speak. But I have studied Wicca/Wiccan, Paganism, Shamanism and the likes for about 3 years now. I feel as if this might be the right way to go for me. So I built this site for others who have dabbled, studied or is involved in WitchCraft. Also if anybody has any questions about this or is just curious. Let me make one thing clear, "I, nor any other Wiccan, worship the Devil." I hate Stereotypes and labels.
